Brief Introduction of Renishaw Tool Setter DTS100
The DTS100 is a single – axis tool height setter. It is triggered when the tool touches the contact pad. A trigger signal is sent to the machine tool controller via the hard – wired cable, and the tool length is automatically calculated.
This tool setter can be used for a variety of on – machine detections, such as tool length detection, tool breakage detection, tool wear compensation, and determination of tool offset. It is designed to operate in the machining environment, so it can resist the ingress of swarf or coolant and prevent false triggers caused by shocks or vibrations.
The Renishaw Tool Setter DTS100 is compatible with a variety of CNC processing equipment, such as drill – tapping machines, engraving and milling machines, high – gloss machines, vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, five – axis machining centers, gantry machining centers, turn – milling complex equipment, non – standard automation equipment, etc.
